A Taste of Tokyo Disneyland: A Post about all the food we tried inside and outside of Tokyo Disneyland.
Hey there, fellow travelers! It’s been a minute since our last update, but we’re back and ready to dive into the delicious world of dining at Tokyo Disneyland. Thanks for sticking with us through the holiday hustle and a pesky bout of sickness – your support means the world to us!
In our previous post, we took you on a thrilling ride through the top toddler-friendly attractions at Tokyo Disneyland. Today, we’re shifting gears to chat about something equally exciting: the mouthwatering meals and snacks we savored both inside and outside the park.
Breakfast Bliss:
First up, let’s talk breakfast! Securing a reservation at a Disney hotel restaurant can be tougher than scoring a FastPass for your favorite ride. But fear not, fellow foodies! We discovered a breakfast solution that’s quick, easy, and oh-so-delicious: Japan’s iconic convenience stores. From flaky pastries to satisfying egg sandwiches and, of course, piping hot coffee, these spots have got you covered 24/7. We fueled up on these delights before diving into a day of Disney magic with our little ones during the Happy Entry!
Snack Attack: Now, onto the snacks! At Tokyo Disneyland, popcorn reigns supreme, with flavors ranging from classic cheddar cheese to adventurous curry. And let’s not forget those adorable themed popcorn containers – the perfect souvenir for popcorn aficionados! But not every snack was a hit; we took a chance on the Orange-Chocolate Tipo Torta and, sadly, it didn’t quite hit the mark. Lesson learned: stick to the classics!
Another snack worth mentioning is the Mickey Ukiwaman Chicken bun – a steamy, savory delight that scored a perfect 5/5 in our book! Juicy meat tucked inside every Mickey-shaped bite? Yes, please!
Lunchtime Adventure:
When it came to lunch, we opted to venture outside the park to the nearby Ikspiari mall. With a diverse array of dining options, including ramen, steak, udon, and more, the mall’s food court was a culinary playground. We grabbed some steak, buns, and drinks, then headed back to our hotel for a leisurely afternoon nap. Because let’s face it – sometimes you need a break from the crowds, right?
Dinner Delights:
For dinner, we embarked on a cosmic culinary journey at Plasma Ray’s, a space-themed restaurant in Tomorrowland. From Korean-style bowls to meat patties with omelet and cheese, accompanied by fries and alien mochi balls, every bite was out of this world! Plus, dining during the parade meant plenty of available tables for us to choose from – talk about a stellar dining experience!
And there you have it – a taste of how we ate our way through day two of our epic 16-day trip. Oh, and a pro tip: don’t forget you can bring your own snacks and drinks into the park, perfect for keeping little ones fueled up between attractions.
Stay tuned for more culinary escapades and travel tales from our adventure abroad. Until next time, happy eating and may your taste buds be forever tantalized! 🍽️✨
